MULTITASKING
Is our increasing dependence on technology making us dumber and less productive? Is it nibbling away at our over-stimulated brains, rotting them from the inside out? Carting the children to their overflowing social activities while dropping off your chainsaw to be sharpened, all the while you try to figure out which gas station to pick dinner up from. Do you find yourself staring at a screen of some kind throughout the day trying to tackle a myriad of botheration or create some kind of distraction from the ever-present horrors of our current state of affairs, ad nauseam?
We know how you feel….Days flow by like a dream, and we have difficulty recalling a single detail from last Thursday. Pat created an illustration back in 2009 that eventually inspired this song, and was musically influenced by both Rush and Zydeco music. This is our our first single in quite awhile, and we hope that you enjoy!

Work’s piling up,
A constant climb to stay on top
For you
there's too much to do
Need more time,
More arms and more eyes
But you
Only have two
Eat your breakfast while you race out the door
Morning conversations while checking the scores
Forget the present, Mind’s onto the next
Fix your hair and driving the car while checking your text
Who did you see today? They’re all faceless
Where did you go today? Nameless places
What did you do today? Nothing at all
How was your day, Dear? I can’t recall
Multitasking steals another day away
Multitasking feels like everyday's the same
Multitasking scattered thoughts cloud my brain
Multitasking steals away another day
You’re never alone when your holding your phone
Alone you don’t what to do
Four things at a time, racing gerbils in your mind
And I can’t seem to get through
Silence a stranger, TV’s on while you sleep
What happened to the years? There goes another week
Today is yesterday, and tomorrow will be the same
I'm here with your body but not with your brain
Maybe tomorrow my mind will be here
Liquid, Tranquil sharp and clear
Maybe tomorrow we’ll live in the now
But for today we just don’t know how
THE LYRICS

Superhero or villain? Jumping from one end to the other in a matter of seconds, turning this mild-mannered, friendly chap into an unspeakable asshole. When we were kids, we were big fans of The Incredible Hulk TV show, and as adulthood settled in with wives and children, we discovered the astonishing transformations our demeanors can quickly exhibit with just a minor, unfortunate trigger. Our eyes turn a light crimson, we begin to tear through our clothing, and a few hours later we are running down the road in slow motion as light and sorrowful piano music plays softly. Our first single of 2022 plays upon this theme, and has some really funky instrumental sections to keep things interesting.

Our latest single hits on our familiar theme of the fear of technology and complex devices that surround our society. We all experience this to some extent when confronted with aspects of our rapidly changing world, but to some it is a debilitating nightmare. Thoughts of tranquil, comforting spaces may bring momentary relief, but those screens, wires and cables start creeping in, taking over everything in their path. We embrace this phobia wholeheartedly in our new tune, with meager acoustic guitars going up against the assaulting blips, beeps and alarms of mechanization. This song, like many of our others, has gone through an extensive evolution in the last couple years, and we’re so excited that is now ready for your ears. Please continue to support independent music, and happy holidays to you and yours.

Are there people in your life who are just so sure about everything and everyone that there is no room for contemplation or even discussion? Due to an innate certainty, whether by faith or ignorance, many of these people believe that their viewpoints are the only ones that matter. Admittedly, most of us have our share of doubts, but wouldn't it be wonderful and reassuring if we didn't?
Must be nice to be so certain
Must be nice to win ever fight
Must be nice having second sight
Must be nice to know that you’re right
Must be nice to never struggle
Must be nice living in that bubble
Must be nice having god on your side
Must be nice when it’s all black and white
Instead of this grayness
Instead of this meaningless
Instead of having to guess
Instead of this
Must be nice to follow all you’re taught
Never need for a second thought
And your life with its righteous missions
Must be nice having such clear visions
Must be swell to be able to tell
You’ll be watching from heaven while I’m burning in hell
Must be nice walking toward the light
Yes, I confess that would be nice
Instead of this grayness
Instead of this meaningless
Instead of having to guess
Instead of this murkiness
Wish I was sure, wish I was certain
I wish I knew
But all I know for sure
is that I haven’t a clue
I don’t need confession
you don’t need to question
It must be nice to pity me
I Envy you

This Was The Future
Our 15th single, This Was The Future gives a sneak peak at how things coulda been. Glorious and peaceful ease where everything is done for you. People live in efficient, artificial bliss, and life is kept at a very comfortable temperature. However, as with any good Twilight Zone episode, there are always darker elements that infiltrate.
We live in such a glorious time
There’s no more war, poverty, or crime
Everything is so clean and pristine
It seems all our work is done by machines
My home, a geodesic dome
With clear plexiglass, white and chrome
In a forest of plastic trees
The chip in my brain stores my memories
What a world, what a world,
What a dream, what a dream
What a world, what a dream
Everything's exactly how it's meant to be
In my solar powered self driving car
Remembering the dunes from the west side of Mars
And our sweet genetically modified child
Was designed with a kind and heartwarming smile
Computers produce the most wonderful songs
And vacations last all the year long
And hate and weapons have all been banned but
My life-like wife holds a knife in her hand

Moving Forward
A good thing for a new year...a new presidency....toxic relationships....Moving on to a brighter future, no matter how hard the desperate past tries to hold on.
This is not our typical song. It has been in the works since 2013, and has undergone several major facelifts, including at one time being a rap tune. It has been shelved repeatedly and almost never saw the light of day. However, with the assistance of our amazing guest vocalist, Sarah Perrotta, the song was given a new life force, and eventually it took on its present form becoming what you might call our version of The Human League's "Don't You Want Me".

Bad Wish
This is our first single of 2021, and it has been four very long years in the making. The inspiration behind it seems to strengthen on a daily basis, coming to a head in the last week. Have you ever wished that someone would just take their last breath already, and how it might be if you had the power to make it happen? You know it isn’t morally sound, but you’re convinced that it would be the right thing for your entire planet? Here’s to a much brighter and hopeful year!

Let's Pretend We're Dead
This was supposed to be our big Halloween hit, but a snafu with our web developers caused a delay in the song’s release. Our lawyers are certainly planning to rectify the situation. So, instead, you can think of it as a fun distraction from viruses and elections, maybe even from life itself.

Man VS MIDI
A modern day tale of (hu)Man VS. Machine and the depression that follows when you realize you're loosing.

Ever wanted to be able to look through the clothing of that cutie next door? Or see what’s inside that safe without having to turn those pesky knobs? Have we got the product for you!! X-Ray Glasses!!!! If you call before midnight tonight we’ll throw in a bullet proof vest, free of charge! Now how much would you pay!?

Quarantined
What does quarantine mean to you? How have you held up so far? Are you screaming at your governor to set you free? Or are you playing it safe, staying within your allotted amount of space, waiting for the coast to be clear? We are all grappling with the consequences of this sudden lifestyle change. Will we be alright? Looking back at how we acted before March, it makes you feel like it was some distant dream. Here is a look at how we’ve been feeling in the last few weeks.
Lyrics
Quarantined doesn’t have to mean that I’m all alone
Still have my TV, all my social needs are Here on my phone
To me Life isn’t all that different
Except the quiet peace of these empty streets, As Anxiety fills my bones
No Cause for Concern, When will normal return, Forever Stuck in this home
Suddenly life is so different
Will we be alright, or is this permanent?
Being trapped together, brings us closer than ever, All in this same boat,
So much family time, too much family time. We’re at each other’s throats
To me Life isn’t all that different
Quarantined doesn’t have to mean, we’re in trouble
To keep the family strong, Pretend there’s nothing wrong, Just stay in our bubble
Cuz Maybe life is so different
I think we’ll be alright, only hope it isn’t permanent
Certainly life really is so different
Was it just a dream we were living in?

Wash Your Hands
In the spirit of education, public safety and recycling, we created this little ditty. No, we're not the first to whip up a tune you can whistle while washing away. But this may have the edge you're looking for. If this tune sounds familiar to you, you’re right! We've updated another one of our instructional songs to reflect modern times.

You Don't Get It
We hope you are all safe and sound during this strange and scary time. With schools shut down and families stuck at home, many parents and children are feeling the perpetual struggle of screen addition and generational warfare. You Don't Get It is a mix of straight-ahead rock and roll with a haunting, ethereal and psychedelic sound, and features Chris' son, Damian Bradley, on euphonium and lyrics co-written by Alison Abbruzzi.

Monochrome
Who likes talking about the weather? And why would you ever write a song about it? Well, some days are just that inspiring. Some have said that this is our version of "Here Comes the Sun" (The Beatles).
So, slip into your pajamas, grab a warm cup of tea and take one minute and fourty-four seconds to embrace the gloomy days with this cheery little number.

With Her Eyes
The single, With Her Eyes, is the first single of the new decade. It was written for and musically inspired by our pal, Chris Butler, from post-punk heroes, The Waitresses.
Contains an explicit chorus. Please listen responsibly.

Hands of a working man
A new pop song tackling that age-old schism between the generations with the perceived laziness and spoiled nature of the “entitled” youth of any given day.

Flush The Toilet
The Bradley's blend light jazz with a pinch of death metal, in an attempt to teach children an important life lesson.

Fresh Coffee -our first ever single.
This song explores the deep love/hate relationship the authors have with their morning brew.
Guest Musicians- Byron "Brown" Bradley -Sax, Damien Bradley -Euphonium
